NEP Midwest Showcase Class of 2021 Prospect Review

Jonathan Dunn 6’6 F St. Louis MO

Dunn took home Co MVP Honors for the second straight year and had the motor going at full speed from the opening tip. Dunn is an athletic, high level utility forward who finishes above the rim and through contact. Dunn also rates as an very good rebounder and can knock down shots out to the 3pt stripe. Look for Dunn to have a breakout year this HS season and gain attention from high major college coaches.

Jordan Nesbitt 6’7 G St. Louis MO

Nesbitt made a strong case for mvp and like Dunn, also won the award last year before reclassifying to the 2021 class this past summer. Nesbitt is showing a rapidly improving skill set along with more bounce, finishing plays well above the rim and knocking down deep 3s throughout the day. Nesbitt looks the part of a Top 50 national prospect in the 2021 class.

Jonathan Izemef 6’9 F St Louis MO

Izemef has all the physical tools coaches look for in a high major forward prospect. Izemef is long with a nice touch around the basket and also finished above the rim and through contact at a high rate. Izemef could see his stock explode over the next year with continued improvement.

Cole Ferrell 6’3 G Florissant MO

Ferrell is a solid guard prospect who can score from all three levels with ease and finish above the rim on the break. Ferrell has nice size for the position and grades well as a multi positional defender.

Hasani Spann 6’0 G St. Louis MO

Spann can really shoot the ball and showed that consistently during camp in drills and the game sessions earning Top 20 honors . Spann also has a knack for making the correct pass and how to move effectively without the ball and doing the little things that help teams win.

Phillip March 5’10 G St. Louis MO 

March had a strong showing at camp especially on the offensive end where he scores effectively from all three levels. March also looked good as a facilitator on the break setting up team mates for easy buckets.

Isaiah Williams 6’2 G St. Louis MO

Williams was really impressive especially in the first two rounds of gameplay shooting the ball at an alarming rate and finishing above the rim on the break. Williams looks like a very solid long term prospect.

Lance Hackney 6’6 F St. Louis MO

Hackney is a hard working, blue collar type post that is still growing and boasts a size 18 shoe. Hackney has a strong frame for a young prospect and soft hand that allow him to corral rebounds at a very high rate. Hackney has the potential to develop into a very good player over the next few years.


Ronell Williams 5’9 G St. Louis MO

Williams had some really nice moments during the event and showed a knack for scoring in the lane and knocking down 15ft pull up jumpers.

Tommie Williams 6’3 SG Belleville IL

Williams was one of the stock boosters in a loaded 2021 group at this years event. Williams has nice size at 6’3 and skills to go with it showing he can knock down jumpers and excel in transition scoring at the rim with ease.

Keelen Allen 6’4 PF O’Fallon MO 

Allen used his soft hand and big frame to carve out space and finish around the hoop frequently during the game sessions. Allen also showed ability to run the floor well for a young big man.

Jeremiah Walker 6’2 G Florissant MO 

Walker had a nice day on the offensive side of the ball scoring in bunches and connecting from long range at a high rate. Walker is a confident player who played his best ball vs some of the top guys at the event.

Braden Bryant 6’1 G Mascoutah IL

Bryant is a really good shooter who can knock them down equally effective off the dribble or catch and shoot. Bryant moves well without the ball and has a good understanding of spacing on offense.

Ilyass Harris 5’9 G St. Louis MO

Harris is a young guard with an advanced feel for the game and an understanding of when to facilitate and when to score. Harris showed the ability to score from all levels and also displayed great leadership intangibles from the lead guard spot.

Max Meyers 5’8 G Washington MO

Meyers is a savvy PG who looked pass first during the camp and also graded as a solid defender.

Andre Carnes 5’8 PG Kansas City MO

Carnes had a nice showing at camp showing the ability to score in bunches and also looked solid as a lead distributer.

Jalen Watson 6’5 F St Louis MO

Watson was very active on the boards and ran the court exceptionally well for his size. Watson has a strong base and soft hands that should lead to future success on the hardwood.

Eddie Simon 6’3 WG O’Fallon MO

Simon is a scoring machine with a nice frame and solid athletic ability. Simon looked great scoring in transition during camp and also flashed his smooth pull up jumper on occasion.

Grant McDaniel 6’0 G Wentzville MO

McDaniel took awhile to insert himself but when he did he showed he can really shoot the ball and also looked good as a perimeter defender.
